    About

    Kunimune & Associates

For over 15 years Kunimune & Associates has helped regional, national and international companies fill key positions.

We identify the key attributes – both the required skills and the secondary “nice to have” experience that sometimes ensures a candidate, once hired, can make an immediate impact.

During the past year we’ve concentrated on building our “bench,” seeking seasoned candidates with the specific skill sets to fill your key positions. We’ve developed relationships with these senior managers – Director, VP level individuals – who are ready to make the move and can hit the ground running.

    Targeted Skills.

We dig a lot deeper than just combing through resumes. We partner with our clients to deliver candidates who combine the key attributes for individual and team success. Candidates you can on-board quickly, who will make an immediate impact to your company’s bottom line.

    Track Record.

Our Principal, Sue Kunimune, has over a decade of experience partnering with regional, national and international companies seeking talent in sales, marketing and human resources. Once placed, our candidates have proven, by their tenure and their career progression, they possess the skills and the confidence to contribute to a company’s bottom line. In fact, despite the downturn, once placed, 78% of our candidates remain at these companies after two years.

    Cultural Fit.

Cultural fit within an organization goes far beyond a list of required skills. Success within an organization is a multi-faceted puzzle, influenced by individual performance, organizational culture and the often overlooked team interaction. Our high placement and retention rates are the result of a client partnership where we help you pinpoint your exact needs by performing a Talent Gap Analysis.

We interview your team members to determine the team’s dynamics – its Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats – then we identify and prioritize the gaps and key attributes a new hire needs to ensure both individual and team success.

    Geographic Reach.

Our Associates represent major U.S. markets – Tri-State New York, Chicago, Denver, Portland, and Honolulu – but our reach extends worldwide, from Beijing to Spain, from New York to Rio.
